Tamil (தமிழ்) is the most beautiful and magnificent ancient language. It has a rich volume of ancient literature, which is considered as one of the greatest classical literature in the world.
We belongs to a language where many great legends were been a part, like Agastya Maamuni, Tholkappiar, Thiruvalluvar, Avvaiyaar, Kambar, Illango adigal, Barathi and so many.
Tamil was the first Indian language to be printed and published in 1578, for Portuguese Christian missionaries named 'Thambiran Vanakkam'.
Approximately more than 500,000 words exist in Tamil and approximately 76 million people around the world speak Tamil. Though the people count may be huge, we have missed many of our very own literature books and findings. Now it is time for us to honor world's most beautiful ancient language.
One such initiative from our end is to convert the 5 great Epics of Tamil Literature into an Audio book
